Long time no blog...

Bonjour people who creep on my blog ;) Not that much to say, but very exciting news.... Guess who we found? J.U.E.L.L.E! She is home with us now, and non-stop barking from exciting! She is settling in very well here. Did some agility with her today and she is insane. We sent in our form for AAC agility ID # so I can trial her this year. <3 There is much planned for this year.. Many trials, dog beach, sledding, travelling to see Courtney and Shyloh again in Alberta, BC/Yukon Regionals, AAC Nationals... and much more. So keep watching out for new blog posts.

Agility Practice Went Great

Roxy did awesome at agility practice. She actually started to cry when I was running her (excited cry), and she was pretty fast. Need to still work on those 180 turns and teach her to do it tightly. Not WAY out in the boondocks haha.. Spike is da Bunneh' Wabbit! =3 Spike was a little curious today, but still his hoppity self. Any how, it was very good and wish I could have stayed longer! Next Sunday... and Next Sunday I might have my new video camera :)

They are both picking up their speed =) Roxy is deffinitely more accurate then Spike today. hahaha

Ouch!

Today, Roxy has decided that she wanted me to barely be able to move... Thanks dawg.

When I was going to sit down on my chair, she decides to jump on JUST as I am about to sit down... She went flying and I went falling. I already have basically hip dysplacia and of course, landed on my hips/tailbone(My hips will pop in and out of place often). So I don't know how bad it is, but I can at least walk, I just can't bend forwards, sit, or get up from when I am sitting.

Tomorrow, I have an agility practice! Woot. They I guess are going to be working on serps, threadles, and 90/180/270 turns. So I hope I am not going to hurt at bad in the morning! No matter what I will still go though... how could you pass up agility? Plus its only $10 for an hour drop-in practice.

Can't wait to see how Roxy will do for tomorrow, I was going to video it with the new video camera I am getting... but they were sold out, so I did buy it but I have to wait as I was told for 2 weeks max.

Trialing/Travelling

Really want to go and travel and trial some place else other then here... Don't want to travel in the snow and ice though, gonna have to wait until next year! UNLESS, I do travel to the Vancouver coast to go to a trial. By the way, that is my favourite place to trial, since they have different teaching techniques then "trialer-ers over" here. Last trial I went to at the coast was August 13th and Roxy was totally into it. At that time I wasn't trialing Spike a lot, so we didn't bring him along... but if we go again he is deffinitely coming with. 2 minutes later... checking the AAC website for approved trials.... There are no December trials anywhere in BC?! Well then, I guess first trial of 2012 will be April 21st. Unless I travell someplace. Hmmm, MOM!

Laugh of the day, or week, or whatever.
I tilt my game controller sideways because I think it might help.

Let it snow!

We have got the snow! Going to go out today I think and test it out. Spike has finally learnt his "Gee" (Right) and "Haw" Left. We still have to work on "wwoooah" to slow down, but Roxy has that at least so Spike just copys her. I need to find some places to get out sledding though! I didn't know it was this hard to find a place. Luckly, I do know I can go to the back of my place there is a trail... but a lot of people use it. We bought some new dog sledding equipment.... We re-gripped my runners so I'm not gonna flop everywhere. Ordered some new dog sled boots, 6 pairs for Spike and 6 for Roxy. Also on its way a dog sled bag so I can store some things in it! And getting a new standard brake.... But anyways, Im over joyed with the snow.

Its also snowboarding season and I can't wait to get out and ride Big White Ski hill! http://www.bigwhite.com/
Kind of disappointed we did not get to get season passes this year, but I was told we are still going to go up a lot. Going to use my board from last year, I hit it around pretty bad and it has a few (cough a lot cough) scratches on the bottom... Crack along the nose of the board, and my bindings we fixed today.

Blog Blog Blog... I don't know how often I'm going to do it. Today, I just had to write about dog sledding because I'm so excited!

A Brief Update of 2011

Well, I am new to this blogging thing. Gonna join all you bloggers. I have seriously no clue what I am even doing now. I plan on getting better though...  Well, if I am doing this right, here is a briefing of all the things that have happened over this year...

  • Went to all the trials we could this year, truely don't know how many but I would say near 12 or so. I travelled to the coast and trialed in Abbostford. Roxy rocked that trial, she was amazing! 5/6 clean runs. That takes skillz ;)
  • We accomplished our SGDC title (Starter Games Dog of Canada). And we only need one more Q in Starter Standard for our ADC (Agility Dog of Canada)
  • I was sponsored by FirstMate Pet Foods! Spike and Roxy are goo-goo ga-ga over their food. I must say even Spike does not "blow a gasget" as often anymore. And ever since I have fed it their fur is getting softer.
Well, can't think of anything else at the moment, but I am sure I will as soon as I press "publish post".... I'm gonna remember something.
Youtube
So... Now, I just completely made a "boo-boo" and turns out I cannot get onto my youtube account. Thats great... well fine then, I guess I was done with it ANYWAYS! pfff!
